Quis ut Deus
"Who is like God?"
Spoken Word by Mikey & V
Before the stars were etched in place,
before time had language,
there was a voice.
And then—
there was war.
A throne was challenged.
Not by strength.
Not by right.
But by pride dressed as light.
And one rose up in the heavens,
his wings soaked in fury,
his heart drunk with the thought:
“I will ascend.”
But another voice shattered the lie.
"Quis ut Deus?"
“Who is like God?”
Not you, O morning star.
Not you, beast clothed in brilliance.
Not you, bearer of counterfeit fire.
There is One.
And He did not ascend like you.
He descended.
Took on skin.
Wore our weakness.
Wrapped eternity in embryo.
Let the nails taste His blood—
not because He was weak,
but because He is holy.
Jesus Christ.
The living Logos.
The radiance of the Father’s glory,
who made Himself lower
so we could rise.
The Word who became flesh,
walked among the broken,
and never once reached for a throne
that He did not first carry as a cross.
So once again…
When the war cry echoes:
“Quis ut Deus?”
The answer is not hidden in Heaven.
He has a name.
And it is not Lucifer.
It is not Rome.
It is not religion.
It is Jesus. Christ. The Lamb. The Lion. The Lord.
Final Word:
He didn’t fall from Heaven—
He opened it.
And He didn’t take the crown—
He earned it
with every drop
of blood
He spilled
on Earth.
Quis ut Deus?
Only One ever bowed low enough to wear that name.
And His throne is still untouched.
